Ingredients

– 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F/45°C)
– 1 large egg
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
– Vegetable oil for frying
– Sugar and cinnamon for coating (optional)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.

Add the granulated sugar, egg, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well until combined.
