Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy. Add the sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until a dough forms.
Knead the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, a tablespoon at a time.
