Preparation
1. Prepare the dough:

Preheat the oven to 180oC (350oF) and type the mold with baking paper.
In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, bicarbonate, spices, and salt.
In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until the mixture is light and frothy.
Add the egg and mix well, then incorporate the molasses.
Alternate the addition of dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
