Do this extra step so that the garlic won’t sprout or rot all year long

How to Store Garlic to Last All Year:

Dry the Garlic Thoroughly:
Before storing, ensure the garlic bulbs are completely dry. You can leave them in a well-ventilated, shaded area for a few days.

Separate the Bulbs (Optional):

Use an Airtight Container with Salt or Rice:
Method 1: Place the garlic in an airtight jar and add a layer of coarse salt or uncooked rice. These will absorb moisture and prevent sprouting. Method 2: Wrap the garlic bulbs loosely in newspaper or paper bags and store in a cool, dry place.
