Pepper steak is one of the most popular dishes on any Chinese takeout menu, but with this easy recipe, you can bring a homemade version to the table without much effort.
The name pepper steak comes not only from the peppers that are cooked along with the steak, but also from the generous amount of pepper that is added to the steak before cooking. Don’t worry about the pepper making the whole thing too spicy; the sweet soy-ginger sauce balances everything out.
