Ingredients
Dough:

200 grams cottage cheese
A pinch of salt
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
50 ml vegetable oil
10 grams vanilla sugar
200 grams flour
1 tsp baking powder
Filling:

500 grams apples, peeled and diced

Cinnamon, to taste
Directions
Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
Sift in the flour and baking powder, and mix until a soft dough forms. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour.
Prepare the Apple Filling:
In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the diced apples and cook for 5-7 minutes until they begin to soften.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and stir in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, mixing well to thicken the filling. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Assemble the Pastry:
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape, about 1/2 cm thick.
Spread the apple filling evenly over the dough.
Fold and Shape:
Gently roll the dough with the filling into a log or fold it over like a turnover. Seal the edges to prevent the filling from leaking.
