Classic Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
200 g butter (softened)
100 g sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
250 g all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg and vanilla.
Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until combined.
Roll out and cut shapes or form small balls.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
