**Ingredients:**
β 2 lbs beef tips or stew meat π
β 2 tablespoons olive oil π«
β 1 large onion, chopped π§
β 2 cloves garlic, minced π§
β 2 cups beef broth π
β 1 cup red wine (optional, can substitute with additional beef broth) π·
β 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce πΆ
β 1 teaspoon dried thyme πΏ
β 1 teaspoon dried rosemary πΉ
β 1/4 cup all-purpose flour π
β 1/4 cup water π§
β Salt and pepper to taste π§
β Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) πΏ
**Directions:**
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
2. Add the beef tips and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Stir in the beef broth, red wine (if using), Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Bring the mixture to a boil.
5. Return the beef tips to the skillet, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
