Ingredients:

1 kg of small cucumbers, cut into thick slices

2 cups white vinegar

2 cups of water

3 tablespoons of salt

2 tablespoons of mustard seeds

1 tablespoon of coriander seeds

1 tablespoon of black pepper grains

4 garlic cloves, crushed

2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

Instructions:

Bring the vinegar, water and salt to the boil in a saucepan to form brine.

In each sterilised jar, put the mustard seeds, coriander seeds, black pepper, crushed garlic and dill.

Fill the jars with the cucumber slices.

Pour the hot brine over the cucumbers, leaving about 1 cm upwards.

Close the jars well and treat them according to the designated canning method.

With these home-made canned recipes, you can enjoy fresh flavors even out of season. Make sure you use appropriate canning methods to ensure food safety.

4. Chutney mango ginger:
Ingredients:

3 mature, peeled, pitted and diced mangoes

1 red onion, finely chopped

1 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup brown sugar

2.5 cm Goss Gemberwortel, grated

1 teaspoon of mustard seeds

1 teaspoon of coriander beans

1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

1 teaspoon of salt
