Waffle Cheeseburger with Maple Drizzle

Make the Waffles:

In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt).
In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
Cook in a preheated waffle iron until golden and crispy. Set aside.
Prepare the Burger Patties:

Mix ground beef with salt and black pepper.
Shape into patties and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet or on a grill and cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, adding cheddar cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
Toast the Waffles:

Brush waffles with melted butter and toast lightly for extra crispiness.
Assemble the Waffle Burger:

Place one waffle on a plate as the base.
Add the cooked burger patty with melted cheddar cheese.
Optional: layer crispy bacon, lettuce, or fried egg for extra toppings.
Drizzle maple syrup over the top for a sweet touch.
Top with the second waffle.
Serve:

Enjoy
