Ingredients:
1 cup vegan dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
Optional trim: crushed walnuts, grated coconut, dry fruit
Instructions:
In a microwave bowl, mix the vegan dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in a microwave at intervals of 30 seconds, stirring each time, until the chocolate chips and coconut oil have melted and mixed well.
Add the pure maple syrup, the vanilla extract and the sea salt to the mixture of melted chocolate. Stir well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Cover a baking mold or baking dish. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula. If you want, sprinkle your favourite toppings on the chocolate blend. Crushed nuts, grated coconuts or dried fruit are perfectly suitable for this recipe.
Place the mold in the refrigerator and allow it to cool for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely solidified.
Once the chocolate is hardened, take it out of the refrigerator. Use a sharp knife to cut it into squares the size of a bite or break it into irregular pieces.
Serve and enjoy. Keep the rest of the vegan chocolate in a sealed container in a refrigerator for up to two weeks.
