Prepare the Yellow Layer:
In a saucepan, heat the milk and sugar over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
Dissolve the gelatin powder in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Add the dissolved gelatin to the milk mixture and stir well.
Add vanilla extract for flavor and let the mixture cool slightly.
Pour the yellow layer into a glass dish or mold. Refrigerate until it sets (about 1-2 hours).
Prepare the Pink Layer:
Heat the strawberry juice and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
Dissolve the gelatin powder in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Mix it into the strawberry juice and stir well.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Assemble the Layers:
Once the yellow layer is fully set, gently pour the pink layer on top.
Refrigerate again until the pink layer sets completely (about 1-2 hours).
Serve:
Once both layers are set, scoop out portions or cut into slices. Enjoy your colorful layered mousse!
