This recipe is called ‘Crack Burger’ and boy does it live up to its name!

1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 mix for juiciness)
1 packet ranch dressing mix (about 1 oz)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Sliced pickles, onions, and tomatoes for garnish
Lettuce leaves
Your favorite burger condiments
Directions
1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with the ranch dressing mix and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
2. Form the beef mixture into 4 equal-sized patties. Make sure not to pack the patties too tightly to keep them juicy.
3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the meat reaches your desired level of doneness.
4. While the burgers are cooking, spread the butter on the inside of each hamburger bun. Toast the buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.
5. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun bottom, topping with lettuce, slices of pickle, onion, tomato, and your chosen condiments. Cap with the bun tops and serve immediately.
Variations & Tips
For those who’d like to mix things up, here are a few tasty variations! Try mixing in some cooked bacon bits into the beef mixture for extra smokiness, or swap out cheddar for blue cheese for a bolder flavor. If you’re avoiding red meat, ground turkey or chicken can substitute beautifully with a slight adjustment in cooking time to ensure juiciness.
