The Ultimate Seafood Pasta Salad
šĀ Instructions:
- Cook the pasta:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside to cool.
- Prep the shrimp:
- If using raw shrimp, cook in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain and let cool. If using pre-cooked shrimp, rinse and pat dry.
- Make the dressing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, Old Bay seasoning, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Combine everything:
- In a large bowl, mix the cooled pasta, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, bell pepper, parsley, and dill.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently until well coated.
- Chill & serve:
- Cover and refrigerate for at leastĀ 30 minutesĀ to let flavors meld.
- Garnish with extra herbs and a squeeze of lemon before serving.
