2. Red meat and meats
Red meat (beef, pork, lamb) and meats (sauchia, ham, bacon) contain saturated fats and purines, which promote inflammation and uric acid formation, thus increasing joint pain.
Healthy alternative: Replace them with white meat (chicken, turkey) or vegetable proteins (lenses, chickpeas, tofu).
3. 3. Dairy products
Some dairy products, especially those high in fat (cheese, cream, whole milk), contain a protein called casein, which can promote inflammation in some sensitive people.
Healthy alternative: Choose vegetable milks (kernels, coconuts, soya) and alternative calcium sources such as almonds or green vegetables.
4. Foods with frits and transformed oils
Freams (fries, doughnuts, crisps) and hydrogenated oils (margarine, palm oil) contain trans-fatty acids, which increase inflammation and accelerate the destruction of cartilage.
Healthy alternative: Preference should be given to omega-3-rich oils such as olive oil, rapeseed or flax oil with anti-inflammatory properties.
