Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
While oven preheats, brown ground beef (season to taste as it cooks) and drain fat.
Spread beef in bottom of 2- to 2½-quart casserole dish.
Drain liquid from vegetables and spread over meat.
Use rubber spatula to spread canned soup over vegetables and meat. Use soup as is, straight from the can. Do not mix with anything.
Place a layer of potato pancakes on top.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
