Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle (about 12×18 inches) on a floured surface.
Spread the softened butter over the dough, then evenly spread the cooled strawberry filling on top, leaving a small border around the edges.
Roll the dough tightly from the long side, creating a log. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish, cover with a towel, and let them rise for another 20-30 minutes.
4. Bake the Rolls:
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
5. Make the Cream Cheese Frosting:
In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth and fluffy.
6. Frost & Serve:
Spread the cream cheese frosting generously over the warm rolls. Garnish with a few extra chopped strawberries if desired. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
Tips:
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the strawberry filling.
Make sure the strawberry filling is fully cooled before spreading to prevent soggy dough.
Use fresh strawberries for a brighter flavor, but frozen works well too
