Sausage Skewers Wrapped in Puff Pastry

2 sheets of puff pastry.

Hot Dogs or Sausages: 6

Egg yolks: 2, whisked (for brushing on top of pastry)

PREPARATION:
Heat the oven before using.

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Make the puff pastry:

Unroll the puff pastry sheets and slice them into strips that are around 1 cm (½ inch) wide.

Put the sausages on a stick.

Put a stick through each hot dog or sausage from end to end.

Wrap the hot dogs.

Wrap each sausage with a strip of puff pastry in a spiral shape, making sure to leave some space between the layers of pastry.
