3.Assemble the sausage rolls: Cut the sausage meat into 1-inch pieces. Place a piece of sausage meat on one end of the dough rectangle. Top with a sprinkle of cheese.
4.Roll and seal: Roll the dough up tightly, enclosing the sausage and cheese. Pinch the seam to seal. Repeat with the remaining dough and sausage.
5.Brush and bake: Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
