For the Seafood Soup:
1/2 pound of shrimp, with shells and veins removed.
1/2 pound of crab meat, preferably in large pieces.
2 tablespoons of butter
1 onion, cut into small pieces.
1 carrot, cut into small pieces.
2 pieces of celery, cut into small pieces
3 pieces of garlic, chopped.
1/4 cup of tomato paste
3 cups of broth made from seafood or fish.
1 cup of thick cream
1 small spoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
Add salt and pepper as desired.
Fresh parsley, finely chopped, to decorate
To make thicker:
2 tablespoons of regular flour
