First, beat the egg whites until stiff and add the sugar and beat until the sugar has dissolved.
Then fold in the egg yolks, sift the flour mixed with starch over it and also fold in with the whisk.
Then spread everything into a smaller baking tin and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
This recipe is enough for a cake or, baked on a baking tray, for a sponge roll. It’s super quick and easy!
Tip
Instead of the starch flour, you can also use a packet of pudding powder (vanilla or chocolate), but then with 140 g of flour instead of 12 g. You can also replace some of the flour with 70 g of ground almonds or hazelnuts. Quick sponge cake with 150 g of flour I’ll never buy it again
