Roll the dough starting from the longest side, like a bagel.
Cut the roll approx. into 2-3 cm thick slices.
Place the curls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top with beaten egg.
Cooking: Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Fry the curls for approx. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
Tips and variations: You can also mix ground walnuts or almonds into the filling.
You can also decorate the top of the snails with sesame seeds or poppy seeds.
You can also mix raisins into the filling.
Instead of plums, you can use other fruits, for example: apple, peach.
The seasoning can also be varied freely.
