Ingredients
Puff Pastry: 500 g (store-bought or homemade)
Canned Pineapple: 500 g, drained and chopped
Sugar: 3 tablespoons
Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Egg: 1 (separate yolk and white)
Pomegranate Seeds: Optional, for garnish
For the Accompanying Tea:
Black Loose Leaf Tea: 2 teaspoons
Ginger: A small piece, sliced
Apple: 1, sliced
Sugar: To taste
Directions
1. Prepare the Pineapple Filling:
Drain the canned pineapple and chop it into small pieces.
In a mixing bowl, combine the pineapple with 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.
