Pecan Pie Cookies

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream Butter and Sugar: In a bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Add Dry Ingredients: Combine flour and baking powder; gradually mix into the creamed mixture. Stir in pecans.
Bake: Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool before serving
