Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
7. Flatten each dough ball slightly with the palm of your hand.
8. To create the paw prints, press four chocolate chips into each cookie for toes and three together to make the main pad.
9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers will still be soft.
10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
