Ingredients:
Oatmeal: 1 cup (90g)
Warm milk: 150 ml (approx. ⅔ cup)
Apples: 2, peeled and diced
Butter: 20g (1 ½ tablespoons), melted
Vanillin: 1/2 teaspoon (or vanilla extract)
Eggs: 2 large
Nuts: 50 g (approx. ⅓ cup), chopped (walnuts, almonds or pecans)
Avocado oil: For greasing the baking dish
Application:
Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F). Grease a baking dish with avocado oil.
Prepare the oat mixture: In a medium bowl, combine oats and warm milk. Let the mixture stand for a few minutes to allow the oatmeal to soften.
Mix ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter and vanillin (or vanilla extract). Stir in chopped apples and nuts.
Mix: Add the egg mixture to the softened oat flakes and mix everything well.
Bake: Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
Cool and serve: Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.
