Ingredients
Here’s what you’ll need to make this powerhouse tea:
- 2 cups water
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (or 1/2 lemon sliced)
- 1 stick of cinnamon (or 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional, for taste)
- 1 green tea bag or 1 tsp ground coffee (optional — for thermogenic boost)
Method / Instructions
- Boil the Base:
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil. - Add Ingredients:
Add sliced ginger, crushed garlic, and cinnamon to the water. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 7–10 minutes. - Infuse Tea (Optional):
If using green tea or coffee, turn off the heat, and steep your tea bag or stir in coffee grounds for 2–3 minutes. - Strain & Finish:
