Next-Level Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Pour melted butter into a 9-inch round cake pan.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the butter.
Arrange pineapple slices and maraschino cherries on top of the brown sugar.
Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Prepare the Batter:

In a large bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
