Never buy laundry detergent again by switching to this natural two-ingredient blend

The acidity of white vinegar makes it an ideal solution for sweat and deodorant stains, even in cold washes. Add white vinegar directly to the stain before washing.
White vinegar has the same softening effect as any chemical fabric softener. Not only will your clothes come out of the washing machine as soft and supple as a flowery meadow, but they won’t cause any harm to you or your environment. Pour just ½ cup for a normal load.

A Japanese study showed that a mixture of white vinegar and salt not only tastes delicious on fish and chips, but also has powerful antibacterial qualities. Any bacterial residue found on your clothes will be killed during a white vinegar and salt wash. Use 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 2 teaspoons of salt.
Detergent rash often occurs due to the residue left on your clothes. White vinegar leaves no residue at all. For those of you still using detergent, adding just 1/2 cup of white vinegar will remove all residue from your clean clothes.

One of the main reasons people use detergent is due to their fear that natural alternatives won’t fight odors. White vinegar fights bad odors, even from socks that have been sitting in your gym bag for a while!
For stains that can ruin your clothes, such as red wine, coffee, grease, etc., simply mixing 1/2 cup of white vinegar and warm water will remove almost any stain. Leave the garment in the mixture overnight, then wash it as usual.
Pet hair and lint are often a nightmare to remove from clothing. It’s the residue that conventional laundry detergents leave on our clothes that “sticks” these lints together. White vinegar (using 1/2 cup for a normal load) will prevent these problems.
Swapping your detergent for white vinegar will also prevent one of the most annoying problems with conventional laundry detergents: static electricity!
