Made this ‘New Year’s Butter Bliss’ three times last week, and it’s still not enough!
1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are pink and opaque.
4. Stir in the lemon juice and red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a touch of sweetness, try adding a splash of white wine to the skillet before cooking the shrimp. If you prefer a bit more heat, increase the amount of red pepper flakes or add a dash of cayenne pepper. For a citrus twist, consider using lime juice instead of lemon. And if you’re in the mood for a creamy sauce, stir in a tablespoon of heavy cream just before serving.
