In the yard I found some strange little black balls and was horrified to realize what they were: be careful if you notice this kind of thing!

But the closer we looked, the more we sensed danger: these eggs were too hard, shone strangely, and were right on the edge of the lawn where children and animals often play.

The larvae that hatch from these eggs can quickly find a host, whether it is an animal or a person.
