If the cat bites you, here’s what it really means, I didn’t know at all, I’m surprised…

A BITE TO ASK FOR ATTENTION
Cats love to play. When they are stimulated, they can bite, but it is simply a game for them. These bites are not aggressive at all but they can still hurt you. More rarely, cats can show you their affection by nibbling you. It is surprising but a cat can both purr and bite you!

When it is hungry, your pet can also bite you. This is a rather unsubtle way of telling you that it wants attention. It expresses its needs, in this case that it wants to eat or that it wants to be petted.

YOUR CAT MAY BE STRESSED
Like us, cats can be overwhelmed by their emotions. When they suddenly feel too much, they may behave in a completely unusual way. For example, they may roll around on the floor or bite you. Most of the time, if a cat bites you in a slightly more aggressive way than usual, it is probably because it is stressed or afraid. It is a defense mechanism for the animal.

More rarely, if your cat bites you, it may be because it feels pain or discomfort somewhere. If this happens repeatedly, be sure to consult a veterinarian to be sure that your pet is in good health. When it chooses a territory, the cat holds on to it and defends it. If you sit in the place where it regularly sits, the cat may bite you as if to defend its territory.
