I mix 150 g of starch flour with 7 eggs and bake a master baker’s sponge cake

Preparation

First, beat the egg whites until stiff and add the sugar and beat until the sugar has dissolved.
Then fold in the egg yolks, sift the flour mixed with the cornstarch over it and also fold in with the whisk.
Then spread everything into a smaller baking pan and bake at 180°C for around 30 minutes.
This recipe is enough for one cake or, baked on a baking tray, for a sponge roll. It’s super quick and easy!
Our tip

Instead of the cornstarch, you can also use a packet of pudding powder (vanilla or chocolate), but then with 140 g flour instead of 12 g.
You can also replace some of the flour with 70 g of ground almonds or hazelnuts.
