First grease a cake tin (bundt cake, wreath, loaf pan, etc.) and place in the fridge. Preheat the oven to 180 Β°C top/bottom heat.
Now beat the eggs and sugar until thick and creamy. Then stir in the oil, juice and orange peel.
Now mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in quickly. Pour into the tin and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
Let cool in the tin for about 15 minutes, then turn out onto a cake rack.
You can cover it with the icing while itβs still warm if you want it to absorb a little β otherwise you should let it cool down first.
If you like, you can of course use a different icing (e.g. frosting)
