Mix Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar for about 10 minutes.
Add Eggs: Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add Dry Ingredients and Lemon: Gradually mix in flour and lemon juice or extract.
Fold in Soda: Gently fold in the lemon-lime soda.
Prepare Pan: Pour batter into a well-greased 12-cup Bundt pan.
Bake: Bake at 325°F for 1 to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until fully set.
Cool and Glaze: Remove from oven, transfer to a wire rack to cool, and drizzle with glaze.
Directions Using Box Cake Mix:
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 325°F.
Prepare Pan: Grease the Bundt pan.
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and soda. Mix well.
Bake: Pour batter into the greased Bundt pan and bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until set.
Cool and Glaze: Allow the cake to cool completely before removing from the pan and topping with glaze.
Lemon Glaze:
Mix Glaze: Combine powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
