Instructions :
Cooking the chicken: Preheat the oven to 180Β°C. In a pan, heat the olive oil and brown the chicken fillets for about 5 minutes on each side. Remove and reserve.
Tomato sauce: In the same pan, sautΓ© the onion and garlic until soft. Add the crushed tomatoes and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.
Assembling in the gratin dish: Place the chicken fillets in a gratin dish, top with tomato sauce and sprinkle generously with mozzarella.
Baking: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Presentation: Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
