Prepare the dough:
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Add eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and wine/grappa.
Knead into a smooth dough, wrap in plastic wrap, and let rest for 30 minutes.

Fry until golden:
Heat oil to 170°C (340°F).
