Cabbage Soup

Prepare the Vegetables:
Chop the cabbage, dice the onions, and chop the celery into small pieces.
Cook the Soup:
In a large pot, combine the chopped cabbage, diced onions, stewed tomatoes (with juice), chopped celery, and the Lipton onion soup mix.
Add 6 cups of water or vegetable broth to the pot and stir well.
Bring the soup to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Season and Serve:
Taste the soup and season with salt and pepper as needed.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
