BRITISH BANGERS AND GARLIC BUTTER STEAK BITES AND CHEESY SMASHED POTATOES

Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).
Boil the baby potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use the bottom of a glass or a potato masher to gently smash each potato.
Drizzle the smashed potatoes with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until crispy.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the potatoes and return to the oven for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped fresh chives.
