1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
1 cup cold buttermilk

1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese or other types of cheese
1 stalk spring onion or chive, chopped
A handful of chopped pumpkin or sweet potato (optional)

Stir in 1/2 cup of grated Cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of grated Swiss cheese, chopped spring onion or chive, and any other optional vegetables like chopped pumpkin, sweet potato, or red bell pepper.
Add Buttermilk:
Pour in 1 cup of cold buttermilk and gently mix until the dough just comes together. Be careful not to overmix.
