Be careful, it can be addictive, puff pastry strudel with pepperoni and cheese!

Perfect as an appetizer, snack or even for a quick dinner, it combines the crunchy texture of puff pastry with the irresistible flavor of pepperoni and melted cheese.
Ingredients
1 sheet of puff pastry (rectangular, chilled or defrosted)
100g thinly sliced ​​pepperoni
150g shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice)
2-3 tbsp tomato sauce (optional, for extra flavour)
1 beaten egg (for brushing)
1 pinch dried oregano or basil (optional, for sprinkling)
Sesame seeds or grated parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)
Preparation

Preheat the oven:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Prepare the puff pastry:
Lay out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
If you want an extra flavour, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-2cm border around it.
Add the filling:
Spread the grated mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, making sure to cover the entire surface well.
Optionally, sprinkle with some dried oregano for an aromatic touch.
