First, bring the cherries to the boil with the juice and thicken with the vanilla pudding powder. Pour into a decorative glass bowl and let cool.
Next, whip the sweet cream, mix the quark with the sour cream and the vanilla sugar. Sweeten with additional sugar if necessary. Fold in the whipped cream and pour it onto the cherry mixture.
Now add the eggnog. Don’t be too sparing. The layer should be about 1 cm thick. Refrigerate until ready to eat. The crowning glory is the chocolate sprinkles that you sprinkle on just before.
Our tip: If children are eating with you, put a small bowl without eggnog aside beforehand so that the little ones can also enjoy it.
