Packets of Garlic Steak and Potatoes with Foil

2 pounds of lean sirloin steak that has been trimmed and chopped into large pieces
1 pound of young yellow potatoes, cut into quarters or halves as desired
(1 tablespoon of minced garlic, or more or less according to your preference)
Two tablespoons of Italian spice (or a combination of dried oregano, thyme, and parsley, for a different flavor).
one teaspoon of onion powder
Using three teaspoons of canola oil
To taste, season with salt and pepper.
Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packet Recipe Instructions
For uniform cooking, preheat the oven to 425°F, or 220°C, if you want to bake these tasty foil packets in there.
Marinate: In a large mixing bowl, mix together the baby yellow potatoes, lean sirloin steak pieces, garlic, onion powder, olive oil, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Add the minced garlic and stir well. Toss the items gently to coat them with the spices.
Distribute the steak and potato mixture equally across four aluminum foil sheets measuring 12×12 inches for packet preparation. Take your time sealing the contents to make sure the foil packets are tidy and secure. That way, the flavors won’t escape and will only become stronger as they simmer.
