I loved this dish as a kid. I would always bug my mom to cook it for me.

Beef miso ramen is one of those dishes that really hits the spot whenever you’re in need of comfort food. Originating from Japan, this flavorful noodle soup combines savory miso broth with tender beef, making it both hearty and satisfying. I first fell in love with ramen during college, and it quickly became a go-to for weeknight dinners in my busy professional life. This recipe is simple enough to whip up on a weeknight but special enough for a weekend treat. Trust me, once you make it at home, you’ll wonder why you ever paid for takeout!
This beef miso ramen pairs beautifully with light, crunchy sides. A small serving of seaweed salad or a cucumber and carrot slaw will complement the rich flavors of the broth. For something warm, consider adding a side of gyoza (Japanese dumplings) or a simple bowl of steamed edamame. And don’t forget to have some green tea or a light beer to round out your meal!
